The cliff walk is the promenade: juice shacks, yoga shalas and the long view south to Kovalam's coast. Staircases drop to the beach — swim only in flagged areas; the surf here is real. North of the main cliff, quieter stretches and fishing sand keep the pace low. Cliff erosion is ongoing — respect barriers and closed sections.
